Yield: 1 Batch 1. Layer pickles in a large jar.Alternate layers with sliced Ingredients: onion.(You may want to double the recipe for large jars). 6 cups sliced cucumbers 2. Combine sugar,vinegar,salt,mustard seed,celery 1 cup sliced onion seed & turmeric.Bring to a boil.Stir until sugar is dissolved.Pour over the pickles. 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 3. Cool.Cover tightly & refrigerate. 1 1/2 cups Cider vinegar 4. Stir morning & night for 3 days.These pickles will keep 1/2 tsp pickling salt for many months in the refrigerator. 1/2 tsp Yellow mustard seeds 1/2 tsp celery seed 1/2 tsp Turmeric
