Nyalam
Nyalam
We take a delightful flight from Kathmandu and fly west to the border town of
Simikot via Nepalganj. From Simikot we fly to Hilsa by Fishtail Air's helicopter
and then proceed to Taklakot. We drive overland to the holy lake of
Mansarover and complete a parikrama of the sacred Mount Kailash. On our
return journey we pass the Tibetan towns of Saga and Nyalam, before finally
driving down to Kodari, the last Nepalese outpost on the Nepal- Tibet border.
