Wards Corner Conservation Overview

Two locally listed two-story buildings from Nos. 1A & 1B West Green Road have a full ground floor shopfront and early curtain walling on the first floor made of cast iron supporting large glass windows topped by a balustraded parapet. A three-story locally listed former furniture store at Nos. 227 High Road and 725 Seven Sisters Road also has early curtain walling with large picture windows in a decorative cast iron frame on the first and second floors and marks the western edge of the Seven Sisters/Page Green Conservation Area, one of six in the Tottenham High Road Historic Corridor.
