Art. 1175. Usurious transactions shall be governed by special laws. (n)

Art. 1306. The contracting parties may establish such stipulations, clauses, terms
and conditions as they may deem convenient, provided they are not contrary to law,
morals, good customs, public order, or public policy. (1255a)

Art. 1956. No interest shall be due unless it has been expressly stipulated in writing.

Art. 1957. Contracts and stipulations, under any cloak or device whatever, intended
to circumvent the laws against usury shall be void. The borrower may recover in
accordance with the laws on usury. (n)
