Sheila Alimonos Director of Academic Affairs University of Phoenix Online
Dear Sheila Alimonos:
Recently I was accused of plagiarizing an assignment for my current NTC/360 course. I
would first like to start by thanking you and all involved for allowing me to explain the situation. Plagiarism is nothing I take pride in. I consider myself to be someone of integrity and honor. I have never in my scholastic career considered plagiarism as an option. The fact that I am in this current situation disappoints me. My disappointment lies with no one but myself. Although this is no excuse, The document that was turned in, was not supposed to be turned in as my final assignment for grading. I inadvertently turned in my notes and draft of the assignment. When Mr. Coleman informed me that my document was considered to be plagiarized, I informed him of this. I asked if he would allow me to turn in my revision of the assignment and he declined my request. I ask that while the furtherance of my studies at the University of Phoenix are considered, that these things are considered as well
