Tail of the second Kalandar

He is a Prince, son of a king and well educated in science, literature and computation. When he and his
salves where on a journey to give presents to king of Hind they were robed and attacked by desert
Arabs. He fled to a foreign city. He met a tailor in this beautiful city; the tailor gave him a place to sleep
at the corner of his shop. The tailor also gave him axe and rope so that he can go out and work as a
wood cutter.

One day while he was cutting woods he found an underground cave. And he found a princess who is a
prisoner of Ifrit, she was taken on the day of her wedding many years ago, the Ifrit visits her every ten
days and sleeps with her for a night. He spent a night with her and he wanted to save her from the Ifrit,
but the Ifrit killed the princess for being unfaithful and changed him to an ape.

This Prince, still on shape of ape went to another kingdom where he was able to use his writing talent
and impress the king. The king’s daughter knows magic and realizes that the ape is a man. She defeats
the Ifrit after a long hours fight to free the Prince, but she killed. The prince returned to his human shape
with one eye, which he lost his left eye during the fight with Ifrit. Then he left this kingdom and he
started his journey to Baghdad.
