Certificate of Excellence

If anyone has equipment they


wouldn't mind lending for a meeting
please let me know. i will then be able to
set up a schedule for people to try out
equipment for the COE samples. i can
bring a great wheel and a charkha to
cover the spindle wheel category. We
will rotate the months so there is more
than one time for people have a go.

To all fiber enthusiasts and weaver
Brigitte Guffey wannabees--This January the Weavers
Corner will offer a week of introductory
lessons on our looms. You can sign up for
just one day or come several days. The
looms will be threaded up in a variety of
threads and projects. No previous weaving
experience necessary. We will meet from
9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. January 17 - 21, 2011.
The fee of $60.00 per day will
include all supplies. Several projects could
be completed each day. Bring a sack lunch.
We will have hot and cold drinks and
cookies for that much needed burst of
afternoon energy.
