Sir, In the 190% C.B.T, EPF meeting held on 10,09,2010 an agenda item No. 14 was placed regarding cleaning of data on inoperative accounts, While approving the agenda, it was also dedded that adequate publicity should be given for awareness creation. ‘And in order to give wide publicity for awareness creation on inoperative accounts, necessary steps are being taken to publicize the same through print and electronic media besides utilizing other modes of publicity. It has been planned to cary out the advertisement campaign through electronic media in two phases viz. first from 16" January 2011 (15 days) and the second from 24" February 2011(15 days). In the first phase, the campaign will be launched through A.1.R and Doordarshan, and in the second phase the campaign will also be launched in private T.V / Radio channels through Directorate of Advertisement & Visual Publicity (DAVP) in addition to A.L.R and Doordarshan. The details of the channels alongwith time and date in which the spots wil be telecast / broadcast is enclosed alongwith the publicly material Central P.F. Commissioner has desired that information about the campaign should be disseminated amongst employers, employees and other stakeholders so that the campaign gets maximum attention. An officer may also be nominated to oversee the campaign and confirm whether advertisements are being released as per media plan.
