Each year the Franklin County Historical Society Board of Directors and sponsors of the Inter-
national Whistlers Convention receive award nominations of whistlers who have excelled in the
musical art of whistling.

This award is presented to an outstanding whistler who has demonstrated talent and achievement for the
past year or years before, and who in the process has brought public attention to the art of whistling through
the media or public appearances, or recordings, or writings, or compositions in an extraordinary way.
This award is presented to a male and a female recipient and may be given more than once. Please
compose your knowledge of the history of such a person on separate pages. Photos or any documentary
material may be included. (The nominee could be deceased.)
