Country fields with stars so bright.

Then moved to city streets which seemed alright

A broken family; a blessing in disguise.
Why live with someone who only seems to lie?

A family so small of only three,
and with help from Grandparents, mom raised me.

Private schools, trying to fit in,
The only poor kid in a sea of rich.

Being grateful for everything I have
and standing firm in my beliefs.

I am from
Trips to hospitals, and fighting for my life.
I’ll go when I say the time is right.

Making a wonderful family of my own
Never taking time for granted.
