Canis Pedatus.

Konstantine Shcherbina, James Carter,

Jacob, and Steven.

For our Canis Pedatus project, we were assigned the arctic tundra climate, which, although our

wolf was not terribly well prepared for, he/she would survive. The legs of our Canis are large, with

medium-sized fur, which is great for steadily advancing on icy terrain. It's ears are short, which means

it will be noticed less. It is an omnivore, which means that it will eat whatever it finds, a useful skill in

an area where food is sparse. It's night vision, though, is horrible, so in order to survive in the dark

Arctic, it would have to adjust to the light. It's height is the perfect size to survive, big enough to not

get eaten, but small enough to not be seen. It would have to increase it's speed, though. In conclusion,

in order to survive in the Arctic, Canis Pedatus would have to increase it's speed, the length of it'[s fur,

and it's night vision.
