Motivation

The processes that account for an individual’s intensity, direction, and persistence of
effort toward attaining a goal.

• Motivation is the willingness of a person to exert high levels of effort to satisfy


some individual need or want.
• Motivation is usually strong, when one has a vision, a clear mental image of a
certain situation or achievement.
• Motivation can be applied to every action and goal.
• Motivation strengthens the ambition, increases initiative and gives direction,
courage, energy and the persistence to follow one's goals.

People are inherently lazy

• To gain most out of the employees


• To make employees do their best
• To drive employees interest towards work
• To arise a feeling of competition
• To accomplish goals
• To lift one up in an hour of stress
