NICHD Genetic Contributions to Endophenotypes of Dyslexia
The aims of this proposal aims are to develop models of transmission and map in an existing
subject set locations for genes involved in dyslexia.
Role: P.I.
This grant provides the necessary infrastructure for the research proposed in the K08 to be
performed. It provides partial support for all three mentors and funds for statistical analyses. No
support is provided for Dr. Brkanac or for the specific studies detailed in the K08.

disabilities and to investigate the genetic relationship between reading disabiity based on IQ-performance
discrepancy and low achievement only.
