Call me when it’s over

Holding out your hand,

I stare at you,

Footprints in the sand,

I follow you,

Flashing your wicked grin,

I laugh at you,

Throwing punches with him,

I cry for you,

You look so vulnerable,

When you’re not sober,

I don’t like watching you fight,

Call me when it’s over,

Snoring lightly in sleep,

I dream with you,

Slitting my eyes when you creep,

I wonder about you,

Twisting your fingers into wishes,

I copy you,

Making me smile with your kisses,

I think of you,

Walking away in handcuffs,

Completely sober,

I’m terrified of bad dreams,

Call me when it’s over...
