Gustavo Rivera is the new State Senator from the 33rd State Senate District in the northwest Bronx.
He is a genuine progressive, and strongly pro-tenant. With our help, Gustavo defeated Pedro Espa-
da, Tenant Enemy # 1, in the September 14 primary. Tenants PAC raised $6,000—the maximum
for a primary—from tenants and our supporters for Gustavo’s campaign.Tenant volunteers phone
banked and door knocked for him, as well as working in the district on the day of the election.

Because we want as many tenant leaders and organizers as possible to meet Gustavo and hear
what he has to say, we are keeping this event affordable, with a minimum contribution of $25.

Of course, we will gladly accept more if you can afford it. And please consider becoming a monthly
sustainer, as a steady source of income frees our volunteers to concentrate on winning stronger
