Day 1: Ha Noi â Babe (L, D)

Departure for Ba Be around 8 Am, passing through the mountainous province - Thai
nguyen. There are superb landscapes with the rice fields in terrace, the paddle
wheels in bamboo on the two sides of the river. Have lunch on road. Upon arriva
l at Cho Ra about 1h30 PM, take a boat on Nang river that slips in a cultivated
country before penetrating in a landscape of chalky cliffs whose flank are chara
cterized by small wild gardens, where hang the lianas and its long roots in ques
t of earth. Then enter into the Puong Cave.
The river flows, making up a wonderful site where you can enjoy the stalactites
on foot of this pothole. Continue going by boat to Pac Ngoi - a village of Tay e
thnic. The Tay lives on fishing, rice and corn cultivation. Their stilt houses w
ith the thatched roofs disperse in the austere surrounding landscapes. Have dinn
er and overnight at the Pak Ngoi village, Hoa son home stay.
Day 2: Boating â Return Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, visit Ba Be National Park then take a car back to Ha Noi . Have
lunch at Cho Ra town, with an optional visit the ATK Zone (Militarize Zone) on
the way back to Ha Noi. Arrive at Ha Noi around 18:00.
