Ans 3.Communication strategy should be like this

The company should come up with NEW NANO++


ITS ADVERTISING

A . The advertisements should lay emphasis of the great vision and pure intention of
Ratan Tata that he wanted to make a small car for the Indian family who cannot afford a
high priced car.

B . Further Ratan Tata can come up with a humble apology( in the sense that we were
bit unprepared because of the media hype) for the negatives that Nano brought with
it(the bursting of nano into flames etc).

C. This time the actual price of the car and not the fad associated “THE ONE LAKH
CAR” should be made.

D .To compensate for the increase in the price company should offer the extra money
that new Nano will be offering at really easy interest rate and EMIs.

E. This time not only the lower strata of the society be targeted but also the youngsters
especially coaching /school going students as an alternative to bikes thus offering more
comfort which includes-

1.While in bikes students carry heavy bags which can be harmful for their shoulders
and back

2.The heat and the traffic/ pollution can reduce their efficiency in studying

3.The safety associated with it for working ladies at affordable prices can also be
shown.

4.Thus positioning it as truly a car for masses.

And NEW NANO++ is an inexpensive answer to all the middle class ambitious students

These advertisements should be made on television and radios.

Once they achieve a momentum they can focus on customization of the car model
through their already existing online , community based marketing( Nano blog having
the dream car configuration”)
