Power-point Presentation

Assignment: Create a PowerPoint presentation (8-10 slides) based on a friend,

family member, role model, athlete, writer, artist, musician, political/historical
figure, or a celebrity who has inspired you, made you want to be a better person,
and/or better at something (someone with biographical information and images).

The focus of this assignment is not so much on the content as it is on the form,
design, and elements of the PowerPoint. However, make an effort to be
accurate, cite ALL sources, and use quotation marks when using exact words.
You should spend less time researching and writing the information, and more
time perfecting the form, design, and elements of the PowerPoint.

The PowerPoint must include the following:

1) Title page with title, image, your first and last name, and your grade.
2) Subtitles on each page
3) An outline/overview of your slides
4) Custom slide theme and layout.
5) High quality images on at least half of the slides (ie: 4/8 or 5/10).
6) A different slide transition on every slide.
7) Animated text or image on every slide with reasonable timing set (Note:
timing must be set so its doesn’t take too long).
8) Sound effects/music with either transition or text on at least half of the
slides.
9) There must be at least one active hyperlink (that when clicked, redirects
you to a website).
10)Correct spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation.
11)A works cited page at the end listing all the websites used for research
