Paul & Marilyn Hontz

Paul and Marilyn were married on July 15, 1972 and have six children and seven grandchildren. Paul grew
up in Southern California where he and his family attended Arrow Highway Wesleyan Church. Paul and
Marilyn met at Azusa Pacific University. Following graduation, Paul served as youth pastor at his home
church for two years. Since 1976 Paul has served at Central Wesleyan Church in Holland, Michigan. In the
30 plus years since he has been there the church has grown from an average
attendance of 380 to approximately 3,000 people. The church sits on a campus of 113
acres and is actively engaged in ministries both locally and globally. Marilyn has
been featured on “Focus on the Family” and speaks at various retreats, conferences,
and workshops. She has also written adult Sunday School curriculum and several
daily devotional guides for her denomination and a devotional for Moody Publishers.
She has written two books, Listening for God, and Shame Lifter. Both books
published by Tyndale House Publishers. Marilyn loves being a grandmother of seven
and enjoys reading, doing crafts and working in their garden with her husband. She
also finds it exhilarating when she finds a long lost sock and realizes she still has its
mate! Some of her favorite words begin with “P” – Paul, prizes, puppies, pizza and prayer.

with Bill and Gloria Gaither, Avalon, Sandi Patty, Watermark,
and a slew of other impressive talents in the Christian and secu-
lar worlds. Sarah and her husband Jeff lead worship around the
country and their blend of piano, percussion, and soulful vocals
will sing you to rest and relaxation in the Lord. Jeff & Sarah
live in Noblesville, IN where Sarah serves as a worship leader
at Grace Community Church and Jeff teaches music in the
Westfield Schools. They have a daughter, Soren, 3 and a son,
Joseph, 1. They love traveling, cooking, taking family walks,
and laughing with their WMCR buddies.
