The mysterious monster

Chapter 1
A thousand years ago there was a family who
lived in a village in Denmark. One day the family
went fishing. There was a little boy called Rennell,
a dad called Tige, a teenage girl called Rose and a
mum called Ingrid. The family thought that the
village was boring, but everyone else thought that
it was a lovely village with lots of trees. They went
fishing because they wanted some fish. Although
the village was quiet, below the sea lived a
monster called Vendel. The monster was evil.

Chapter 2. The problem starts.

Out at sea the family saw a brown thing in the
water. “Raaaahh!” the monster came jumping
out. The boat tipped over and Tige said “Rennell,
Rose, Ingrid you will need to swim to land.”
“What!” shouted Ingrid.
Rose was swimming the fastest with Rennell next.
When they got to land Rose, Rennell and Ingrid
were worrying about Tige. The monster Vendel
was all soggy and brown. Vendel had 6 arms and 4
legs. Tige nearly drowned, but he defeated
Vendel. Tige reached land and the Gunner’s family
went home and went to bed. Rennell said “I hope
the monster doesn’t come back.” Next morning
Rose and Rennell were gone.

Chapter 3. The Gunner`s

revenge

Tige and Ingrid were worried about the kids. “We

have to save the kids!” shouted Ingrid. So they
rushed to the sea.
When they got there they saw Rose and Rennell
hanging from the ceiling in the cave. “Mum........
dad help!”shouted Rose.
“Here I am!” came jumping out Vendel.
“Let`s have a battle then, if you win you get to eat
the children ....... but if we win we eat you for
dinner” said Ingrid.
“Ok then let`s get started.”
Tige was fighting, the monster was bitten.
They defeated Vendel. Tige and Ingrid were hurt
and Rennell and Rose were glad. Next morning
Vendel was all small like Rose. “Hallo” said
Vendel. “What!” said Rennell. “I am not evil no
more” said Vendel.

Chapter 4. Finishing the

monster.
Vendel was trying not to be evil. Tige and Rose
were talking. “We can’t let that ugly, smelly little
creature live here” said Rose.
“Vendel can sleep in your bed” whispered Tige.
“If no one likes him we will have to kill him” said
Tige. Next morning they covered him and
chopped his head off and brought his head to the
king. “Well now you have done that we can have a
party” announced the king. So they went home
and threw that party. The party had strawberry
cake and coke and they even had a shower (for
once) and they were all happy.
