1. Claims are classified as

i. Small Claims:- a simple claim not involving more than two parties and whose monetary
value is not more than Kshs 49, 999/=
ii. Fast track :- a claim of undisputed facts and legal issues and is likely to be concluded
within 180 days after pretrial directions
