creation and implementation of the BC for BC - STV campaign.

City of Kamloops, Kamloops BC 2005-2008

City Councillor. Additionally, served on City Hall social planning council, race relations committee, citizen
satisfaction survey committee, the north shore plan committee, and the sustainable Kamloops committee. Dealt
with many citizen concerns, and tried to help facilitate discussion on tough issues.

Independent Candidate. Promotional effort to try to encourage people to vote, especially young people.

Project Officer, Electoral Observer Team. Assisted the Canadian NGO Electoral Observer Team for the first
democratic election in South Africa. Co-coordinator of our observer team based in Pietermaritzburg, Kwazulu
Natal.
