 In the aspect of Malaysia
economy growth the main
contributor is from
manufacturing constitutes the
largest single component of
Malaysia's economy.

In Sarawak there are several
main thrusts on Sarawak
tourism sector which are
cultural, festival, nature,
adventure, gateway city and
convention.

 During the Plan period, the
target is to improve Malaysia’s
position to be within the top 10
in terms of global tourism
receipts and increase the
sector’s contribution by 2.1
times, contributing RM115 4
 in addition to increasing the
number of tourist arrivals. As
stated by Tenth Malaysian
Plan, one of the key strategies
for this purpose is realigning
promotional and advertising
activities. 5
