The universe consists of super clusters of galaxies separated
by vast, bubble-shaped voids. Each super cluster consists of
up to several hundred-galaxy clusters, and each galaxy
cluster may contain up to several thousand individual
galaxies. The galaxy super clusters are thought to be
arranged in the shape of winding filaments that may be
hundreds of millions of light years long. The most remote
parts of the Universe are believed to be about 15 billion light
years away and are moving away from our own galaxy at
close to the speed of light.

• Sun, Planets, Asteroids
 Galactic objects
• Dark clouds, proto-stellar disks, supernova remnants,
 Galaxies
• Magnetic fields, neutral hydrogen
The density of the Universe determines its geometry or shape. If
the density of the Universe exceeds the so-called "critical density",
then the shape of space is curved like the surface of a huge
sphere. If the density of the Universe is less than the "critical
density", then the shape of space is curved like the surface of a
saddle. If the density of the Universe exactly equals the "critical
density", then the shape of the Universe is flat like a sheet of
paper.
