forms, translate between the two forms, explain how rate of change is represented in each form,
and use the forms to find specific terms in the sequence.

A1.1.E: Solve problems that can be represented by exponential functions and equations.

A1.7.B: Solve problems that can be represented by exponential functions and equations.
Assessment of learning: This will be a quiz day.
Use of Space: The desks will be evenly spread out across the room.

Differential Instruction:

Summative Assessment:

The theme of Sections 7.1-7.3 is exponential operations. The related quiz will
assess the student’s ability to:
 Rewrite expressions using exponents
 Derive exponential expressions from word problems
 Correctly use the Product and Power Properties of exponents when
evaluating exponential expressions
