Paragraph 1:

 Term 3 doing advertising part of topic to give persuasive speech.


 Chose topics goal to convince audience on topic e.g buy product/best
method.
 Chose Beth (2) and Eleanor’s (1).
 (Me) Did pretty well, chose topic easy to relate to and easy language.
 Not good eye contact and tones of voice but got message across.

Paragraph 2 (Eleanor):

 Chose really serious topic that girls hate/thinks is unfair. “sexist jokes just
aren’t funny” girls related to it well.
 Used emotional angry tones to show serious topics and sexism shouldn’t
be tolerated.
 Speech in time frame/ great eye contact: felt like part of the speech.
 Handled class questions well and guys were persuaded.

Paragraph 3 (Beth):

 “School uniforms do serve a purpose”/ great tones of voice and hand


movements to add feeling and emotion.
 Had topic that could relate to/ helped us understand.
 Eye contact made audience feel important and part of the speech.
 Made it great speech: cared about subject and believed in it.
 Handled class questions well, taking time to answer/ not thrown back
into her face.

Paragraph 4:

 Chose this subject because of “bus incident”


 Asked friends on their opinions and said the same. Adults saying image
unfair as well.
 Practiced speech in front of parents but didn’t time.
 Performance ok but really nervous, not good eye contact and forgot tones.
 Mr. Cox’s mark was good and went with how I felt about my speech.
 Overall didn’t do very well but tried my best.
 Writing notes should not be compulsory and only write mark.
