Introduction
Measurements of temperature taken by
instruments all over the world, on
land and at sea have revealed that
during the 20th century the Earth’s
surface that:-
 Lowest part of the atmosphere
warmed up on average by about 0.6oC.
Definition of Global Warming

 Global warming is define as increase of the


average temperature on earth. As the earth is
getting hotter, disaster like hurricanes,
draught, floods are getting more frequent.
Causes of Global warming
 Global warming causes by green house effect.
 Another major cause of global warming is
deforestation
Effects of Global warming on kids
 According to a new report (Oct. 29, 2007),
children may be especially vulnerable to the
effects of global warming and steps should be
taken to safeguard their heath as temperatures
rise.
 Beyond increasing the risk of heat related
conditions like heat stroke and dehydration.
Damage to lung function and growth due to
increase air pollution
 Increase in infectious diseases spread by
mosquitoes and ticks, such as west Nike virus,
malaria and Lyme disease.
