FRESHMAN * BLOCK COORDINATION PROGRAM UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES MANILA The incumbent Freshman Block Coordination Program (FBCP) of AY 2010-2011 encourages the student body especially the freshmen of the current academic year to be informed and vote wisely in the upcoming University Student Council elections as well as the College Student Council elections. As a non-profit and non-politcal program under the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), the incumbent FBCs have unanimously chosen not to endorse specific candidates running for position in both the USC and CSC elections. Neither have we chosen to endorse any political party We want to clarify that the previous statement of the FBCP Senior Executive Committee 2009-2010 does not include the members of their batch (2009-2010) which include both USC Vice-Chairperson candidates from the two parties. Our batch (2010-2011) is as well not included for that matter. We firmly believe that the FBCP as a whole will remain a non-political entity. Furthermore, we will not detach ourselves from any of the committees of the program to endorse any candidate or party since it will still continue to carry the name of the program. We urge the freshmen as well as the rest of the student body to be critical about the candidates up for election. We encourage that they exercise their right to democracy by voicing out their opinions through the poll. As student leaders in our own right, we believe that the student body deserves to be heard; they deserve to be served. With that, the incumbent Freshman Block Coordination Program of AY 2010-2011 supports the students as they vote for their Fearless, Brave and Committed servant leaders for AY 2011-2012.
