॥ श्रीगणपतिस्िोत्र ॥

नारद उवाच –

1 प्रणम्य तिरसा देवं गौरीपत्रु ं तवनायकम् ।

भक्तावासं स्मरे ि् तनत्यं अयश्ु कामार्थतसद्धये ॥ १ ॥
2 प्रर्मं वक्रिण्ु डं च एकदन्िं तििीयकम् ।
िृिीयं कृ ष्णतपङ्गाक्षं गजवक्रं चिर्ु थकम् ॥ २ ॥
3 लबं ोदरं पञ्चमं च षष्ठं तवकटमेव च ।
सप्तमं तवघ्नराजेन्रं धम्रू वणं िर्ाष्टमम् ॥ ३ ॥
4 नवमं भालचन्रं च दिमं िु तवनायकम् ।
एकादिं गणपतिं िादिं िु गजाननम् ॥ ४ ॥
5 िादिैिातन नामातन तत्रसंध्यं यः पठे ि् नरः ।
न च तवघ्नभयं िस्य सवथतसतद्धकरः प्रभु: ॥ ५ ॥
6 तवद्यार्ी लभिे तवद्या धनार्ी लभिे धनं ।
पत्रु ार्ी लभिे पत्रु ान् मोक्षार्ी लभिे गतिम् ॥ ६ ॥

7 जपेद्गणपतिस्िोत्रं षड्तभमाथसै: फलं लभेि् ।

सवं त्सरे ण तसतद्धं च लभिे नात्र सि
ं य: ॥ ७ ॥
8 ऄष्टेभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च तलतित्वा यः समपथयेि् ।
िस्य तवद्या भवेत्सवाथ गणेिस्य प्रसादिः ॥ ८ ॥
 अन्वय
गौरी-पत्रु ं देवं तवनायकम् तिरसा प्र-णम्य, ।
अय:ु -काम-ऄर्थ-तसद्धये भक्तावासं तनत्यं स्मरे ि् ॥ १ ॥
प्रर्मं वक्रिण्ु डं च एकदन्िं तििीयकम् ।
िृिीयं कृ ष्ण-तपङ्गाक्षं गज-वक्रं चिर्ु थकम् ॥ २ ॥
लबं -उदरं पञ्चमं च षष्ठं तवकटं एव च ।
सप्तमं तवघ्न-राज-आन्रं धम्रू -वणं िर्ा ऄष्टमम् ॥ ३ ॥
नवमं भालचन्रं च दिमं िु तवनायकम् ।
एकादिं गणपतिं िादिं िु गजाननम् ॥ ४ ॥
यः नरः एिातन िादि नामातन तत्रसध्ं यं पठे ि् ।
िस्य न तवघ्न-भयं सवथतसतद्धकरः प्रभ:ु च ॥ ५ ॥
तवद्यार्ी लभिे तवद्या धनार्ी लभिे धनं ।
पत्रु ार्ी लभिे पत्रु ान् मोक्षार्ी लभिे गतिम् ॥ ६ ॥
(यतद) गणपति-स्िोत्रं जपेि् (ितहथ) षड्तभ: मासै: फलं
लभेि्
संवत्सरे ण तसतद्धं लभिे, न ऄत्र संिय: ॥ ७ ॥
यः ऄष्टेभ्य: ब्राह्मणेभ्य: च तलतित्वा समपथयेि् ।
सवाथ तवद्या गणेिस्य प्रसादिः िस्य भवेि् ॥ ८ ॥
Meaning
Having bowed deeply to Lord Vinayaka, son of
Gouri, (he,) the refuge of devotees should
always be contemplated upon, for attainment
of longevity, desires, wealth and Siddhis.
Firstly, on the one with a crooked trunk,
Secondly, on the single-toothed one,
Thirdly, one the black-brown eyed one,
Fourthly, on the elephant headed one.
Fifth, on the big bellied one,
Sixth, on the beautiful one,
Seventh, on the king of obstacles,
Eighth, on the smoke coloured one.
Ninth, on him who has the moon on his
forehead, Tenth, on the remover of obstacles,
Eleventh, on the king of Ganas,
Twelfth, on the elephant faced one.
For that man who recites these 12 names three
times a day, there is no fear of obstacles.
Indeed,
One desirous of knowledge obtains knowledge,
One desirous of wealth obtains wealth, One
desirous of sons obtains sons, One desirous of
moksha attains perfection.
If Ganapati-stotra be chanted, fruit is obtained
by the sixth month. By one year, Siddhi is
obtained without doubt.
He who gives (this) to eight Brahmins in
writing, by the grace of Ganesha, all knowledge
becomes his.
