ISRO ICRB Scientists–Engineers SC Recruitment –February 2011

ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB), Indian Space Research Organisation, Department of
Space, Govt. of India issued notification for Annual Recruitment of Scientists / Engineers ‘SC’ with B.E. /
B.Tech OR Equivalent Degree in the branches of Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science
Engineering. The recruitment advertisement number is ISRO HQ: ICRB: 02 – 2011. This is an excellent
opportunity for the engineering candidates to start career in a highly reputed and prestigious scientific
research organization of the country, such as ISRO. The pay band of the posts is Rs. 15600 -39100 with
grade pay of Rs. 5400/-. Following are details of vacancies, selection procedure and online application
process:

1. Scientist / Engineer SC - Electronics

2. Scientist / Engineer SC - Mechanical
3. Scientist / Engineer SC - Computer Science

Qualification: Applicants should have BE/ B.Tech or its equivalent with First Class marks with an
aggregate minimum of 65 percent. Those studying their final year of BE/ B. Tech also can apply provided
they have secured required percentage in all the semesters for which results are available. Age should be
below 35 years as on 28-02-2011. 

Selection Procedure consists of initial screening based on eligibility, written exam and interview. Written
Test will be conducted for short listed candidates on 16th April 2011 at Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Mumbai,
Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Guwahati, Kolkata, Bangalore, Lucknow, Cuttack, New Delhi and
Thiruvananthapuram. Those qualified in written test will be called for interviews.

28-02-2011. Application fee is Rs. 100 (No fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates). Fee should be
drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of ‘Sr. Accounts Officer, ISRO HQ, Bangalore’ payable at
Bangalore. Candidates should send the DD with full name, Post Number and Registration No. written on
the reverse of the DD to ‘Sr. Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New
BEL Road, Bangalore – 560231’ on or before 07-03-2011.
