In data warehouse, a fact is a value or measurement, which represents a fact about the managed entity or system.
3. What is Factless fact table?
As the name says, a fact table which does not contain any facts is called factless fact table or junction table. It acts as a relation between 2 tables.
4. What is confirmed dimension?
A conformed dimension is a dimension table, which have the same meaning to the facts of every fact table it is connected to.
5. What is main dimension?
It is a normal dimension table which is directly connected to fact table.
6. What is Recursive dimension?
It is a dimension table which has reference to itself.
7. What is Referenced dimension?
A dimension table that is not connected directly to a fact table is called referenced dimension.
