    Implementation of lean manufacturing at Mc McL¶s Printing

    † The project addresses the application of lean manufacturing concepts to manufacturing sector. The
    purpose of project was to implement lean manufacturing concepts in the printing machine sector with an
    insight into Mc¶s SOM 125G printing machine.
    † Lean manufacturing is a systematic approach to eliminate wastes in a system by flowing the
    product on demand. Lean is about doing more with less.
    † Concentration paid on optimizing the production flow with an emphasis on µjust in time¶.
    † Thus it was a concrete effort to eliminate waste by maximizing flow.
