Senior Project Outline

Topic- must be of social significance AND approved by instructor.

Supplies;
1. 3-ring binder
2. flash drive
3. note cards

Note cards – 50 minimum

-Top category
-Body – citation/information
-Bottom - reference

Participation – 5 point/day
-Students will receive a 0 for the day for:
1. UNX absence
2. Coming to class w/o materials
3. Disruptive behavior
4. Failing to be on task

Senior Paper: MLA Style (see rubric)

-Must have a minimum of 5 references
-References include, but are not limited to: books newspaper articles, magazine articles,
website articles and websites.
-.com sites are not permitted unless there is an article with an author.
-“wiki” sites are not permitted

-8 pages typed PLUS

1. Title page
2. Works Cited Page
Writing /Reference Ratio: 70/30

Presentation: PowerPoint (see rubric)

-Minimum 10 slides
-Duration of presentation should be 8-10 minutes
-YouTube videos and approved guest speakers are encouraged.
Submit:
1. Complete Paper
2. Copies of all references (in rings of binder)
3. 50 notecards (resubmittes)
