ADDENDUM TO CERTIFICATION OF ELECTION RESULTS General Election, November 2, 2010

Certified Results from Wilson County in the Governor's Election for the Democratic Nominee, Mike McWherter, are not correct. The correct total for Precinct 11, Mt. Juliet High School should be "144." The correct total for all votes received in Wilson County for Mr. McWherter should be 8,724. Please see the attached statement from staff member, Martha Ann Sutherland as the explanation as to how this occurred.

For future certifications the Wilson County Election Commission will more carefully review election results before the certification process is completed.

CERTIFICATION OF ELECTION REULTS General Election, November 2,2010

On Election night I entered the absentee results for the Democratic Nominee for Governor, Mike McWherter, for Precinct I1-Mt. Juliet High School into the Election Day results, making the total for that precinct appear as "80". While auditing the results for certification I realized my mistake and changed the Election Day results for that precinct to "79." Obviously, I did not remove the "80". The results for I1-MJH for Election Day, which were "79" and Early and Absentee Voting, which were "65" ended up appearing as "8045" on the certified results. The correct total results for II-MJH is "144" and the total for Mr. McWherter is "8724." Mrs. Harris and I have been advised that the Wilson County Election Commission needs to approve an addendum, explaining what happened and the corrective action that the Election Commission will take to be sure this situation never occurs again that will be forwarded to the Coordinator of Elections.

COMMISSION, DO HEREBY CERTIFY THAT WE HELD A GENERAL ELECTION ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2,2010, IN ALL OF THE VOTING PRECINCTS IN OUR COUNTY, ACCORDING TO LAW, FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING THE §.
