DESCRIPTION
This Service Assembly is designed for use on 3 and
5KW Power Generators not equipped with a belt
guard. In addition, instructions are given for modify-
ing the alternator mounting plate to prevent possible
interference with the tractor's left front tire.

Installation of the belt guard in no way alters
any of the safety information or operating in-
structions contained in the Wheel Horse or
Generac Owner's Manuals supplied with the
attachment.

INSTALLATION
MOUNTING PLATE MODIFICATION (Fig. 1)

Slowly turn the tractor's front wheels fully -·to the
right. If the left front tire contacts the corner of the
alternator mounting plate, cut the corner off the plate
with a hacksaw (Fig. 1).
BELT GUARD INSTALLATION (Fig. 2)
Install the belt guard (PIN 108539) as shown in
Fig. 2. Two }.i-20 Eslok nuts (PIN 915111) are sup-
plied to secure the top tabs to the alternator through
bolts. Use the supplied U6-18 x 1}.i bolt (PIN. 908020)
in place of the bolt-ot the right rear of the alternator,
to secure the remaining belt guard tab.
