A skippidy skip

A hoppidy hop

She lands in the mud with a flop

Her auburn hair swings like a mare’s

A skippidy hoppidy flop.

A tweetledy tweet

A chirpidy chirp

Birds don’t know when to stop

Mother comes out and hits all about

A tweetledy chirpidy stop.

A tappidy tap

A clompidy clomp

They dance in a whirl-till a bump

Now bruising and bashing a-hitting a-slapping

A tappidy clompidy bump.

A pleasantly written

A nicely done

Sonnet that’s gone over one

Don’t skim it, won’t work, lest you spoke it so
