JULIE COLLIER JOINS TEAM VERRY AS CO-CHAIR

Executive Board Member at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Brings Experience From the Largest
Chapter in the State.

Minneapolis, March 16th, 2011: Team Verry proudly announced the newest addition to their team, Julie Collier. Currently
serving on the executive board at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus, Collier brings with her the experience,
determination and skills needed to be a successful leader.

“I am truly honored to be asked to run as Tyler’s Co-Chair and am extremely proud to be working with the rest of the incredibly
talented team,” Collier said. “In the last year, Verry has led this organization well. We saw some amazing pickups all around the
state including districts that the College Republicans specifically targeted. I want to take what we achieved and build on it.  If the
past year is any indication of things to come with Verry as chair, the future is very, very bright for Minnesota College
Republicans.”

Collier has been a College Republican at the University of Minnesota for three years. In the summer she interned with the
Republican Party of Minnesota where she picked up the skills and knowledge needed to effectively win campaigns.

“Julie has the trust and the respect of the University of Minnesota College Republicans and she has earned mine several times
over,” Verry said. “Julie’s ability to organize and get things done when they matter most is why I am very excited to have her on
board. She has done great things at the U, and I know she will do great things as the Co-Chair of the Minnesota College
Republicans.”
