Red Wine or White Wine?
It’s one of the great questions of the universe. On the one hand, you have a petation that
contains magical healing powers for the heart and tastes like the ambrosia of the gods.
On the other hand, you have white wine.
Many wise men have wasted away, pondering, arguing, and obsessing over the answer. And so,
the world has been left questioning.
Then, finally, someone had the guts to question the question.
“Wine is wine. Why do you need to compare them at all?”
Apparently, it was a flawed question all along. And it would have remained that way if not for
@ man unafraid to challenge the status quo. It would have remained that way if not for the
Managing Director at Samuel Aerospace, Paul Sutcliffe.
Besides having the savvy to dodge simple questions like a seasoned diplomat, Sutcliffe has
even more expertise when it comes to the aerospace metals industry. He has over 44 years of
experience in the metals industry and has been Managing Director at Samuel Aerospace since
2010. Suteliffe foresees a bright future for Samuel in aeraspace,
“The cyclical nature of the business appears to be on an upswing that could be very good for
material suppliers for several years to come. We have taken steps to ensure the continuity of
supply for our customers, critical for the seamless supply of materials as lead times extend and
the distinct possibility of allocation at the mill level becomes a reality. After our people, who are
focused and generally long term employees, our suppliers of material remain our greatest
asset," says Sutcliffe.
Sutcliffe has been with Samuel since they started in the aerospace industry by acquisition in
the late 1980s and 1990s. He describes the current focus at Samuel Aerospace as “utilizing
the independent expertise within the branch structure to pursue aerospace business with a
consistent marketing and selling approach.” This approach has helped to give Samuel
Aerospace the prestigious reputation enjoyed by its parent company, Samuel, Son & Co.
“What makes Samuel Aerospace different from others in the industry,” Sutcliffe states, “is its
innate ability to make things work effectively.” He Continues by saying that the company is
successful because of “the financial strength of the organization, its people and the ability
meet customer's expectations consistently and exceed them frequently.”
Sutdliffe believes it's an unnecessary comparison; but at the end of the day, it doesn't really
matter whether you choose red or white wine, Red wine is the nectar of the gods, white wine
is also popular for some reason, and both enjoy unbridled, unabridged success among wine
connoisseurs, The result is all that matters.
Success is success.
Much like the success of a fine wine can be traced to the vintner behind it, the success of a
campany can be traced to its employees, Company superlatives like quality performance,
exceptional service, and unwavering réliability would be impossible without good, reliable
employees behind it. For a company to be successful, it needs to have hard working and
dedicated people
Samuel Aerospace isn’t any different. It owes its success to the employees that dedicate
themselves everyday to performing their jobs to the best of their abilities and bringing
unmatched quality to their work. It owes its success to the people like Paul Sutcliffe.
