write a short explanation of what the figurative language is, why the
author uses this type of figurative language, and find an example of
the figurative language being used. You MUST provide the name of the
poem AND the author (if available) if you pull it from a poem. If you
find it from a WEBSITE, you must give credit to the website by
copying and pasting the website next to the example. For example:

A hyperbole is a big exaggeration. It is usually done with humor.

An author might use a hyperbole to help the reader understand just
