What Is It?
• Narcissistic personality disorder is
a condition in which people have
an inflated sense of self-
importance and an extreme
preoccupation with themselves.
Symptoms
• Has abnormally big feeling of self-importance.
• Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited
successes and power.
• Requires excessive admiration.
• Lacks empathy for others feelings
• Believes him or herself are of more
importance's than anyone else
Diagnosis
• For diagnosis go see a doctor or
therapist who can properly
diagnose you with your disorder.
• Do not ask friends to diagnose you,
go see a trusted doctor or therapist.
What Causes It?
• The causes of this disorder are
unknown. An overly sensitive
personality and parenting
problems may affect the
development of this disorder.
Treatment
• Psychotherapy may help the person
to relate to other people in a more
positive and compassionate way.
• Psychotherapy can help the affected
person with everyday life.
Complications
• Alcohol or other drug
dependence
• Relationship, work, and family
problems
