WAITING I started right, gave you my plight But what was I to do?

Before your face I told my case And waited long for you My mind is made and is not swayed To left or to the right Your lovely form is like a storm It puts my eyes alight When you speak I feel so weak And fools are not unclear They can detect your sweet effect On me when you are near I can t decide where you abide In thought, but not in deed I wish I knew what I could do To make this all proceed I pray my Lord for not to hoard His wisdom; rain on me I need it now so here I bow Right humbled I shall be But now I see that I should flee It s you who are not well I thought you d be so good for me My heartache now to quell I feel so torn but here I mourn For what I never knew Bear your scorn with face forlorn This fate cannot undo
