Learning Outcome : design a fair test to find out how different types of surface affect the

time taken of a wooden trolley to reach the bottom

Method : Experimenting

Apparatus : Wooden block, plank, mirror, sand paper, box and stopwatch.

Step:

1. Prepare the apparatus as show in the diagram below


2. Release the wooden block from the plank.
3. Record the time taken by the wooden block to reach the bottom.
4. Repeat the experiment with different surface (sand paper and mirror)
