The Plight of the Riddler

As I sit at my computer my mind is racing

With excitement and anticipation
And anxiety.

I just solved a riddle, and I begin tracing

Back to that certain animation…
And I start to see…

An object that appears to be facing

A…  no… this a pool of aggravation
And infinity…

There it is, what I searched for

An answer like no other
Now for the lines, what a chore
Sometimes I wonder, “Why bother?”

But then inspiration lights up in my head,

A set of lines found Before the answer instead.
“Let’s figure this out,” I thought, “before I go to bed.”
And the ideas rise… like bread.

“There! It’s finished!” I proclaim with delight.

“Everything with this is perfectly right
!But what’s this?! A section that might
Ruin my reputation as a riddler by tonight!

”So after many a-hour, this is my finished work,

And I post it to GameFAQs, and my face posts a smirk.
There’s a fear in my heart, which is that a newbie will lurk
And solve my riddle too soon like a jerk.

But I know that a jerk he is not,

For at one point I too did take a shot
In the dark, like the newbie I was,
And I did guess the right answer because…

Deep down, in my heart and soul,

A riddler I am, and it makes me whole!
