What is Animal Learning?
• Animal learning is the change of behavior due to an
individual’s experience.
What is the purpose of the behavior?
• Survival of the fittest explains why all animals must
learn. If they did not learn about consequences and
rewards, that species would go extinct.
When does this behavior occur?
• Animals do this year round, all of their lifes.
