Man power has always been a problem issues for the hotel industry.

since the year 2000 it has

been the same what we are facing today. In 2000 the growth for the labour was considerably
low what we see today. Post the opening of the Indian economic the hotel industry were going
with the recruiting strategy of well aged and experiences staff for the future of the market. the
sooner the economic open and the new brand and companies emerged and opted the base for
the market such as real estates, bpo and etc they target the human resource management the
most. They went for the high salary package with the less stress in a less time. the people
working in the hotel industry opted for these companies and there has been considerably
downfall in the manpower. The people opted for the new companies were well satidfied and
don’t want to come for the hotel industry.

The growing competencies in hotel industry has made the manpower issues more cruicial.there
has been a rapid growth in the hotel industries, lots of new properties has been building around
this property requires effective man power to run the company. This companies demands for
the skilled and effective staff. There are very less amount of hotel colleges around the world the
number of graduate pass every year is also very less so the hotel is suffering from the less man
power.

There are many small chain of restaurants across the country they are rapidly growing and the
post, salary package etc are good comparatively to the what big chain of hotel are providing.
The stress and the work hour is also less compare to big chain of hotels. So the people who
graduate prefer to work over there.
