On Monday, April 25, 2011, the New York City Department of Buildings will hold its
Build Safe / Live Safe conference: An Inside Look at NYC Construction Trends. Experts
from the Department will discuss construction trends, new safety innovations, new
requirements and recent accidents. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at
NYU’s Rosenthal Pavilion, 60 Washington Square South, New York, NY. Registration for
this event is required.
The conference is part of the Department’s 7th Annual Construction Safety Week, a
week-long series of events that includes educational seminars for licensed professionals,
events for tenants and homeowners and a construction site visit. Construction Safety Week
was created in 2005 to raise awareness about construction safety and educate New
Yorkers about the building process. For more information, visit: www.nyc.gov/buildings.
