CONCLUSION :

Building employee engagement level is very important because increased employee

engagement results in increase in organizations performance so HR department should try to

increase employee engagement by doing/performing various functions like identify drivers of

engagement based on exploratory research. Engaged employees generally remain with the

company a little longer and have a positive perception about the company and its values,

workplace factors and management. An engaged employee contributes more towards

productivity, there will always be who give their best no matter how hard HR and line

managers try to engage them, but for the most part employees want to commit to companies

because doing so satisfies a powerful and a basic need in connect with and contribute to

something significant.

Having a best friend at work or receiving recognition every week makes the employee feel

more cared for and proud respectively, if the employers keep recreating those positive

emotions then it becomes easy for the employee to keep coming

back to work. The effects of positive emotions accumulate and compound overtime and the

adaptive benefits are evident from later, when people face new challenges.

The managers can follow the Gallup research which has contributed an additional ‘P’ to the

4 P’s of marketing i.e. product, price, promotion, place and now people to the mix.
