Taylor Converse All Stars or All-Stars are
canvas and rubber shoes produced
by Converse Company.
History
Initially, they were produced in 1917 as an attempt
to standardize the Converse shoes for basketball.
They were not so popular until basketball player
Chuck Taylor adopt them as his favourite shoe for the
sport.
He was impressed with the design
that, soon after, became one of the

few changes, won the tennis player's
name and signature on its ankle.
Popularity

Chuck Taylor All-Stars is the most successful shoe in

history, and has enjoyed a great trend thanks to a
resurgence of old school fashion. By the end of the
20th century, were sold over 750 million couples
worldwide.

They seem to be no longer used by its main target,

the basketball, and they were transferred as modern
shoes being quite used by teenagers. Some people
love the shoes so much that they make a collection of
them.

The recent increases in numbers
of colors may also have led to
the market for Chuck Taylor's
growing, due to various owner
or factory-based
customizations of the shoe
through color, use of stylized
shoelaces, and through drawing
or writing on the rubberized
parts. Consumers love the idea
of making Converse All Stars
personal and special; a
reflection of who they are.
Most teenagers like All Stars
when they are worned, dirty
and written on. These
practices are fairly common
among consumers over the
past three decades. The
trend of wearing the low-rise
shoes and writing on the
rubberize section is well
known and often used.
