Two friends, Jack and Jill, were travelling through the desert when they had an argument and Jack slapped Jill. Jill wrote in the sand that his best friend had slapped him. Later, at an oasis, Jill began drowning but Jack saved him. Jill then wrote on a stone that his best friend had saved his life. Jill explained to Jack that hurts from friends should be written in sand so the wind can erase them, but good deeds should be engraved in stone to remember.

A story tells that two friends, Jack and Jill, were walking through the desert. In a specific point of the journey, they had an argument, and Jack slapped Jill in the face. Jill, who got slapped, was hurt, but without anything to say, he wrote in the sand: “TODAY, MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE”.
They kept on walking, until they found an
oasis, where they decided to take a bath. Jill started drowning and his friend saved him. When he recovered from the fright, he wrote on a stone: “TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE”. Jack asked him, “why, after I hurt you, you wrote in the sand, and now you write on a stone?” Jill, smiling, replied: “When a friend hurts us, we should write it down in the sand, where the wind of forgiveness get in charge of erasing it away, and when something great happens, we should engrave it in the stone of the memory of the heart, where no wind can erase it”. The motto: “Learn to write in the sand”. ********************************
