    Press "command + shift + 4" to create a crosshair. Drag the crosshair to capture an image on your screen. Hit the transpose button to make every note go to the same key. To manually transpose, shift+click the notes (or note, if you only want one) and move the notes up or down the staff.

    - Screenshot: press "command + shift + 4" to create a crosshair. Drag the


    crosshair to capture an image on your screen
    - Press "command + e" in order to create text (for dynamics, markings, etc).
    This should turn your mouse cursor blue, so click on the location where you
    want your text placed
    - Press "L" for a list of musical markings
    - Transpose button: Hit the transpose button to make every note go to the
    same key
    - To manually transpose, shift+click the notes (or note, if you only want one)
    and move the notes up or down the staff accordingly
